Think Believe...

If you think you’re beat, you are; if you think you dare not, then don’t;  if  you like to win but think you can’t it’s almost a cinch you won’t.  You have to think high to rise; and you must be very sure of yourself  before you ever win that prize.  Many races are lost before a single step is run, and many cowards fall before their work’s begun.  Think big and your deeds will grow, but think small and you’ll fall behind; think you can and you will-it’s all in the state of mind.  Life’s battles don’t always go to the bigger, stronger or faster girl, but sooner or later the one who wins is the one that thinks she can!

In the battle that goes on through life, I ask for a field that is fair.

Give me the strength to meet the strife, and the courage to do and dare.

If I should win, let it be by the code with my faith and honor high.

If I should lose, let me stand by the road and cheer as the winner goes by.

Rhythm One Liners..

Rhythm Team Prayer...

  1. Bullet    Did I win? did I lose?  Those are the wrong questions.  Did I make my best effort? That’s what matters.

  2. Bullet    Don’t whine, don’t complain & don’t make excuses!

  3. Bullet    Never lie, never cheat & never steal.

  4. Bullet    To believe is the first step in making your dreams come true.

  5. Bullet    The best way to improve the team is to improve ourself.

  6. Bullet    Big things are accomplished only through the perfection of minor details

  7. Bullet    If I am through learning, I am through.

  8. Bullet    What is right is more important than who is right.

  9. Bullet    Treat all people with dignity & respect.

  10. Bullet    Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

  11. Bullet    Fear no opponent, respect every opponent.

  12. Bullet    When you improve a little each day, eventually big things happen.

  13. Bullet    Keep in mind that hustle can make up for many mistakes.

  14. Bullet    I will get ready and then perhaps, my chance will come.

  15. Bullet    Be tough, smart & unselfish

  16. Bullet    You can’t have poise & confidence unless you prepare properly.

  17. Bullet    Goals achieved with little effort are seldom worthwhile or lasting.

  18. Bullet    Much can be accomplished by teamwork when no one is concerned about who gets credit.

  19. Bullet    One must earn the right to be proud & confident.

  20. Bullet    The smallest good deed is better than the best intention.

  21. Bullet    The person who is afraid to risk failure seldom has to face success.

  22. Bullet    Acquire peace of mind by making the effort to become the best of which you are capable.

  23. Bullet    Forget favors given; remember those received.

  24. Bullet    Nothing can give you greater joy than doing something for another.

  25. Bullet    Being average means you are as close to the bottom as you are to the top.

  26. Bullet    The only difference between “try” and “triumph” is a little umph!

  27. Bullet    The Rhythm is gonna get you one way or another.

DRIBBLE, DRIBBLE… SWISH!!

With each dribble of the ball on the hardwood floor,

We come closer to knocking on the championship door.

Work hard, work hard is all we hear,

Day in and day out we give our blood, sweat and tears.

DRIBBLE, DRIBBLE… SWISH!!

The sound of the ball is like the beat in our hearts,

Our love for the game is what it imparts.

Dedication and will is the road to success,

With every one of us striving to be the best.

DRIBBLE, DRIBBLE… SWISH!!

At the end of the day, if the score does not go our way,

We know that everything will be okay.

With our friends by our side and the game in our hearts,

Ballin’ is what we will do until we depart.

DRIBBLE, DRIBBLE… SWISH!!

The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough.
